Le Reve townhouse in the heart of Uzes for rent

Le Rêve (The Dream) is a lovely old 17th century stone town house which is located in a quiet cul de sac in the historic heritage quarter of Uzès and is ideal for accommodating up to 2-4 guests. It is just a short stroll down the paved pedestrianised street to the market square or “Place aux Herbes”, the Ducal palace and the many attractive boutiques, cafés and restaurants and the local boulangeries (bakeries).

Situated right in the heart of the vibrant town of Uzès on the border of the Provence and Languedoc regions, this townhouse is the perfect location. Explore the town’s fascinating history, huge Saturday market, Ducal Palace and other significant places, not to mention relaxed eating, drinking and shopping under the shade of the plane trees.

The house underwent a complete renaissance in 2011-12, when the limestone was restored to its original honey tones and sympathetically renovated the interior, creating a warm inviting space full of traditional Provençal charm and character. Forged ironwork, stone features, tiled floors, exposed beams and traditional shutters combined with high quality furnishings and fittings create a lovely ambient environment.

Spread over several levels the house has full central heating and is cool in summer due to reverse cycle split air conditioning in the lounge/dining area and top bedroom and double glazing of windows and French doors throughout.
