   
Profiteroles recipe
Profiteroles are a classic French dessert dating back to the 16th century and literally mean 'small gain'.
Ingredients:
- 100g butter
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup plain flour
- 4 eggs
- 250ml whipped cream
- 100g chocolate
- 3 tablespoons extra cream
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200C degrees.
- Place butter into a pan with water, heat gently until the butter has melted and the water begins to simmer.
- Quickly add the flour and beat well.
- Gradually beat in the egg until glossy.
- Pipe or spoon 20 pieces onto a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until golden and risen.
- Cut a slit in the side of each profiterole and return to the oven for 2 minutes to dry out then allow to cool.
- Pipe cream into each profiterole and then arrange on a serving plate.
- Make the chocolate sauce by placing the chocolate and cream in a bowl over a pan of simmering water until melted, then pour over profiteroles.
