Lyonnaise Sauce


  • 300 ml beef stock
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • a finely chopped onion
  • a clove of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional 1 dessert spoon of black and/or soy sauces
  • In a frypan (best using one meat cooked in), melt 1/3 of the butter.
  • Saute onion and garlic then add rest of ingredients.
  • Mix with wire whisk. Simmer 15 minutes.
