Recipe for French Martini cocktail

Chambord is a liqueur made from cognac, black raspberries, honey, vanilla, citrus peel and herbs. It has been produced in the Loire Valley since 1685 when the liqueur was said to have been introduced to Louis XIV during one of his visits to the Château de Chambord. The Chambord company invented the French Martini as part of a global advertising campaign for the liqueur. As James Bond has his martinis, this one needs to be “shaken, not stirred”, so it has a frothy layer on top when served.

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 15 mL Chambord Liqueur
  • 100 mL pineapple juice
  • Ice

  • Shake ingredients.
  • Strain into martini glass.
