Easy investment! A few steps down the road and you have some great cafes and restaurants where you can spend your time pondering the menu as you enjoy the views and practice your french with the locals. Or imagine having your croissants and coffee on your own private terrace in Provence. This neat and charming house is in one of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon which is perched high on the hill and has some of the most breathtaking views overlooking the valley.
Once used as an Art Gallery this very appealing village house has been very nicely renovated respecting all aspects of its history using mainly traditional methods that blend harmoniously with its surroundings.

When you open the front door you step into a surprisingly spacious main room that has another room off it that could be used as an office or bedroom. The stairs from the main room take you up to the first level where you come into an open plan kitchen with dining area. There is also a room off the dining room which has a fabulous view and could easily be used as another bedroom. On the second level there is a mezzanine immediately at the top of the stairs which was originally used to sleep in and then there is nice bright bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. At the end of the hall way there is the main bedroom with its own terrace that has a beautiful view on the valley where you can sit and have your coffee in the morning or your apero in the evening. A vaulted cellar or basement is accessed via stairs from the main room on the ground flloor and is very handy to store your bikes or whatever in.

As the house was once used as an Art Gallery it could very easily be reconverted to some sort of commercial activity or used simply as your base in the Luberon. There are lots of possibilities.

Gordes, Apt and Roussillon are very close for you to discover by bicycle or car and, the Avignon TGV and airport is only 45 minutes away. Great English bookstore in Apt by the way. Aix en Provence and Marseille are only 1 hour away and Ryanair flies into Marseille international airport twice a day from the UK. BA, Easyjet and all the other European carriers service Marseille all day long. This is one of the most accessible parts of the south of France and with all the privileges of a good life.
