Relax in Tim's place on the Charente river overlooking castle
The village is surrounded by many forests and pretty French farmland. It is in a region known as the 3 valleys and the medieval village is officially classified as "one of the beautiful villages of France". Bakeries, a pub, a traditional french bar, restaurants, a general store supply the village.
The house itself has three bedrooms which can accommodate six people with a large master bedroom and two other double bedrooms overlooking the Charente River. Maison du Moulin is available from 1st March until the 30th October for weekly stays. Guests may arrive at 4pm on a Saturday and depart by 10am on the following Saturday. Rental is $800 for 3-6 people a week and $500 a week
for 1-2 people Tim's place is located in the south west of France between Paris and Bordeaux. From Paris Montparnesse it takes 2hours 20 minutes by the TGV and less than 2 hours from Bordeaux. The train stop at Ruffec and it is 6km by taxi to Vertueil which costs around 15 euro. Car hire is also available in Vertueil.
