Lying in a quiet street of the charming village of Cenac et St Julien you are well positioned for exploring the chief sights of the Dordogne valley, with its amazing castles, Chateaux, prehistoric sites, museums, historical sites, stunning gardens, wine tasting and breathtaking views all within a 5 mile drive. This picturesque village is at the bottom of the hill from the medieval village of Domme which is well know as a walled, 3 flowered bastide village, with panoramic views across the valley.

With the river a few minutes walk one way and the local supermarket and restaurants the other way, this property is in the ideal position to spend as little or as much time as you like exploring this wonderful area. There are local markets most days in the surrounding areas.

So a quick stroll every morning will get you your fresh croissants and baguettes, meat, fruit, vegetables and treats for the day ahead.

The Cenac house is a 17th century old stone village house, recently renovated to a high standard.  The house retains many original features like the old stone walls and steps. The house has two bedrooms, with a stunning view of the village and surrounding valley out of the main bedroom windows.  The second bedroom has its own entrance.  There is also a pull out sofa bed in the lounge room for those unexpected guests, bathroom with toilet and shower, lounge, dining room and full kitchen. Downstairs is the laundry with a washing machine and dryer another toilet and fully lock up garage.
