Two bedroom house to rent - Burgundy wine and canal area Sitting on the Yonne River, this village is only 2 1/2 hours by train from Paris (200km by road). With access to the Canal du Nivernais, there are plenty of activities: boats, walks, bike rides. The village is charming and small, yet has an excellent selection of local services including marina on the canal, railway station, cafe-restaurants, supermarket, bakeries, butchers/delicatessens, pharmacy, banks, post office, florist, hairdressers and more.
Burgundy is an area reknowned for its wine and rolling countryside - the village that gives its name to the famous wine of Chablis is also nearby. Chatel-Censoir is close to the UNESCO heritage listed village of Vezelay and the pretty hilltop old town of Auxerre.

The cost of the rental for 1 week will be $495 which includes the cleaning fee. The upfront non refundable deposit amount required is $200. The house will be available for bookings to arrive 4pm Saturday and be vacated the following Saturday by 10am. A security deposit of $350 will also be required and returned when the house has been vacated in good condition. To request a booking, click here.
