This two-level cottage is part of an original stone farmhouse in the small village of Les Pezieres, nestled in the magnificent Bugey Mountains in Rhone-Alpes only one hour’s drive from the international airports of Lyon and Geneva (2hrs from Paris by TGV). The property offers clean mountain air, scenic country drives and gastronomic delights in nearby centres such as Vonnas (the home of renowned chef Georges Blanc). Or you can sample the unique French-Australian cuisine of your on-site hosts at ‘Le Boomerang’ restaurant next door to the apartment. Your taste of the real France starts here!

Les Pezieres is an ideal base for visiting nearby attractions such as the historic spa town of Aix-les-Bains, the medieval hilltop city of Perouges and the famous mineral springs centre of Evian-les-Bains on Lake Geneva.

The apartment includes original stone and timber features, a fully-renovated modern bathroom and your own private courtyard to relax and unwind. Facilities include TV/DVD player, towels, bed linen, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, cooking facilities and ingredients for continental breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, country bread, local honey and homemade jam). Washing facilities on request (extra charge). Free Internet access on request in hosts’ quarters next door. Parking available outside the apartment.

Summer weekly rates (April-October)   $600 AUD
Winter weekly rates (Nov-March)   $500 AUD

Booking deposit   $250 per week

The apartment is rented out weekly, Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time: 2pm, checkout time: 11am.

Optional central heating is available during winter at $100 per week (plus electricity cost based on meter reading). Smoking is not permitted in the apartment, and no pets allowed.

Full and final booking payment is due 8 weeks prior to booking date. Booking deposit is non-refundable. Rental payment is non refundable on cancellations made within 6 weeks of booking date. Credit card imprint is taken along with ID and a credit card form is taken as security prior.
