Angles sur l'Anglin This medieval village sits below the ruins of a castle beside the Anglin River. It is located south of the Loire Valley is in the Poitou Charentes region and is independently rated one of the most beautiful villages in France with its cute stone houses and cobblestone streets . Because of this, many artists come to the village on painting holidays. The village also holds many festivals throughout the year particularly during the summer months when the village comes alive.
