Agde The medieval town of Agde is a pretty port alongside the Canal du MIdi with a pedestrian only narrow street centre ville formally enclosed within ramparts. The old buildings in the town are made from dark volcanic stone. Agde the town is 10km north of a popular modern coastal resort area of Cap d'Agde known for its long beaches and nudist colony.
