Galaries LafayetteThis is a large department store spread over two old buildings on the corner of Rue La Fayette and Boulevard Haussmann. In the main building, from the make up counters on the ground level and the open circular balconies above it on each floor you can look up to an exquisitely beautiful stained glass arched dome roof. From the roof which has a cafe and the foodcourt on the top floor, there are views over the Paris skyline and of the rear of the Opera Garnier building.
