Fruit Tart
 
Ingredients:
- 1.5 c pl flour
- ½ c icing sugar
- salt
- 9 tbsp butter
- 7 egg yolks
- 2 c milk
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/3 c corn flour
- 1.5 tsp vanilla
- 3.5 tbsp butter
- fresh fruit incl. berries
Instructions:
- Combine butter with first 3 dry ingredients.
- Add 1 yolk.
- Press dough into one or several pie dishes.
- Bake at 375 deg F for 30 min.
- Heat milk and the vanilla.
- In another saucepan whisk rest yolks with the sugar and corn flour.
- Still whisking, slowly pour in the milk.
- Put pan over medium heat and whisk constantly, bringing it to boil for 1–2 minutes.
- Sit for 5 minutes, then whisk in butter. Refrigerate.
- To assemble, a glaze of boiled jam/water can be used
