Photographs of Sharon's top ten favourite places in Paris
These are not the usual monuments but places that have significance for me - see text below for why.
Pont de l'Alma/Flamme de la Liberte - this is also the monument which remembers the spot over the tunnel in which Princess Di lost her life. I took my own small dedication to add to the wilting roses.

Promenade d'Australie - a little piece of Paris dedicated to us right next to the Seine and Eiffel Tower (unfortunately the sign has been popular for posters with marks left on the indicator of our Oz spot).

Thinker, Rodin museum - it amazes me that such a well known piece would just sit out in the garden.

Monoprix - my favourite department store in Paris, this one is on the Champs next to the Virgin store.

Moliere fountain - A recent addition due to the fact that our apartment in Paris now looks over it. As well as a fountain, this famous playwright had a plaque or two around the area he lived/died in.

Hotel de Ville - while we notice the impressive building, our kids only ever see the 'M' signs opposite.

Pompidou fountain - you can experience modern art without even going inside the notable Centre.

Moulin Rouge - this 120 year old night club symbolises Montmartre one of my favourite Paris areas.
Parc Monceau - one of the most peaceful and beautiful but potentially the least known parks in Paris.

Chez Clement on Avenue Wagram - our most favourite, albeit family and chain, restaurant in Paris.
