What's new and novel on French desire's website?

We have added a heap of pages from places in the southeast we visited in 2011 including seaside-villages, Corsica, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. Also read about Vaucluse villages notably Lacoste featured in this weekend's 'Australian' travel section (notably referring to the Marque de Sade and Pierre Cardin).

Upcoming events (outside our WORKSHOP on 17/3)

The largest French film festival outside of France is about to start in Australia. The The Alliance Francaise film festival begins this week in Sydney and Melbourne with other capitals following soon after - don't miss it!

When the film festival finishes, you don't have to wait too long til the Melbourne French Theatre's first production of the year:  Don’t Dress for Dinner/ Pyjama pour six. This two act play by French playwright Marc Camoletti was a smash hit in Paris and then later became London´s longest running comedy ever. Set in a stylishly converted French farm building, with all the hallmarks of a classic French farce, this sophisticated revolving door comedy with it misunderstandings and mistaken identities is a must for anyone looking for a very French evening out. The play is entirely in French with English subtitles. Performances run from Tues 8 May to Sat 12 May. Tickets are $32.
