Our townhouse in the historic village of Pouzauges in the south west of France

Experience the wonders of French village life where the people are incredibly friendly and the streets are steeped with history. Pouzauges is located south of the Loire Valley, north of Bordeaux/La Rochelle, an hour inland from Atlantic Coast beaches and only a few hours from Paris. It is also only 10 minutes drive away from the historic theme park featured on Getaway.

The house can sleep up to six people. It is located in centre ville, just a few doors up from the main shopping square, the best boulangerie and pizzeria/ creperie in town and one of two 12th century churches in the village and the remnants of the castle which belonged to the family of Bluebeard's wife is up the road.

Our apartment in the market and antique town of Isle sur la Sorgue in Provence

Isle sur la Sorgue, Venice of France, has waterways from nearby Fountaine de Vaucluse. It has the 2md largest antique markets in France outside Paris and the best local market we have ever seen. Plenty to do in town and many well known sites nearby. Our renovated apartment, located in a quiet rue around the corner from the main restaurant and shop street, has a double bedroom, separate living sleeping extra 3 with balcony overlooking cafe square and separate fully equiped kitchen/dining.
