Jacqueline Sherwood, painter/artist/photographer Jacqueline was born in New Zealand and has spent most of her adult life in Sydney and London. Her works have been sold privately and through galleries in Australia, Europe and New Zealand. She has developed her love of painting over the last 12 years or so whilst studying at the Willoughby Art Centre, Sydney, and is now dedicating more time to painting whilst living in France and travelling back to Australia for a short time each year. Jacqueline enjoys painting in a wide range of mediums – from her earlier paintings in watercolour, ink and pastel, to her more recent work in acrylic, concentrating on colour and texture and often incorporating ink, charcoal and collage. She is also a dedicated photographer, and is keen to experiment with the use of her many photographs in her paintings. Having recently developed a strong passion for France, Jacqueline now lives in a typical 16th century winemakers house in the Languedoc. She has fallen in love with the landscape, the people and the ambience of the French villages and continues to capture the atmosphere of the landscape, villages and houses in her works. Her works have been displayed at: Awards: For Jacqueline's artwork currently for sale, click here To commission Jacqueline to paint/sketch a specific French scene for you, email us. |
