The world's a weekender

Australians have always loved weekenders. The idea of buying a simple house to escape
 on weekends, holidays in retirement is as old as the fibro weeks in shack itself.

They still have the dream but they go searching for it they don’t find it on the coast,
in the bush, mountains or anywhere in Australia really.

They find it in Bali when on holiday and spot realtor’s signs. Anyone fancy a leasehold
Seminyak villa for $137,000? Or they see it when they’re watching the TV show A Place in the Sun.
 A village house in France’s Languedoc for $113,000, maybe?
